Give a guided tour arround the animal refuge

Guided tour

Giving the gift of a guided tour arround the animal refuge is a gift that we recommend for people who are visiting us for the first time. They will meet all the animals at the refuge and understand the importance of the Zoo of the Pyrenees in the protection of wild animals.

Notice: The Zoo of the Pyrenees cannot be visited without the accompaniment of an educator. Therefore, the guided tour is the only way to see all the animals living in the refuge.

We recommend combining the guided tour with an activity where the guests come into direct contact with the animals.

Animals seen during the guided tour

During the guided tour your guests will meet all the animals living in the refuge which are not negatively affected by the presence of strangers. At present there are about 200 animals of 52 species native to our country.

People will get to know their moving personal stories and learn interesting things about the species. They will also have the opportunity to ask questions that intrigue them, both about the animals themselves and about how we ensure their welfare.
